Job Description

The Business Analyst Intern will support the GBPO team by creating and improving automation solutions, reports, and dashboards that enhance operational efficiency, data visibility, and decision-making. The role involves gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and delivering scalable data and reporting solutions that support business objectives. Ideal candidates are analytical, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about using data and technology to solve problems and improve processes.

Automation Development & Support

  • Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of automation solutions that improve operational workflows and reduce manual effort.
  • Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing automation tools, scripts, and process solutions.
  • Monitor automation performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend automation enhancements.

Dashboard & Reporting Development

  • Develop and maintain operational dashboards and reports using approved reporting and visualization tools.
  • Create automated reporting solutions that provide timely and accurate business insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across dashboards and reporting assets.
  • Support the creation of executive-level reporting and performance scorecards.

Data Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, operational issues, and optimization opportunities.
  • Assist in validating data quality and investigating discrepancies.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through process mapping and root-cause analysis.
  • Develop recommendations based on data-driven insights.

Required

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Basic understanding of business process analysis and workflow documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
  • Familiarity with automation platforms such as Power Automate, UiPath, Alteryx, or similar technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with Python, VBA, or other scripting/programming languages.
  • Understanding of process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Experience working with large datasets and reporting tools.
