Description
The Director of Investor Relations will be responsible for building and executing inDrive’s global investor relations strategy, driving clear and consistent communication with investors, analysts, and financial partners. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role requiring strong financial expertise, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of technology business models and global markets.
The ideal person will bring experience shaping investor narratives for fast-growing, mission-driven companies and will play a key role in how inDrive’s story is shared with external financial audiences
Key Responsibilities
Investor Strategy & Positioning
- Serve as the primary interface with the investment community, managing all communications with current and prospective investors.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global investor relations strategy that reflects inDrive’s mission to challenge injustice and empower communities through fair and transparent mobility solutions.
- Engage with both financial and impact-oriented investors by demonstrating performance, growth drivers, unit economics, mission alignment, measurable social value, and sustainability practices.
- Partner closely with the CFO, CEO, General Counsel, and Communications team to ensure external messaging is consistent, compelling, and mission-aligned across all investor and analyst interactions.
- Lead competitive benchmarking, investor targeting, and perception analyses to inform strategic positioning and strengthen inDrive’s visibility within the global investment community.
- Translate complex financial, business, and impact data into clear, compelling narratives and materials for investors, analysts, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Impact team to define and report on ESG and social impact metrics, ensuring transparency and credibility in sustainability communication.
Capital Markets Preparedness
- Build foundational Investor Relations infrastructure and processes to support future capital markets and external financing activities.
- Coordinate with financial advisors, legal counsel, and external partners on equity story development, financial modeling, valuation topics, and readiness planning for potential capital markets opportunities.
- Manage communication and engagement during fundraising or other strategic financing events, ensuring clear and value-driven messaging to stakeholders.
- Support ongoing education of management and internal teams on capital markets trends, investor expectations, and valuation drivers.
- Lead the investor relations function through potential future stages of the company’s lifecycle, including expanded interactions with global investors and analysts.
- Oversee periodic financial and impact-related communications, disclosures, and investor-targeting activities that reinforce transparency, market confidence, and long-term value creation.
- Prepare recurring investor materials, including impact reports, sustainability content within financial materials, and presentations that reflect inDrive’s values — People, Purpose, and Performance.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, or Equity Research, ideally within a global technology or platform company.
- Experience preparing for or supporting significant capital-markets events or operating in a publicly visible investor-facing environment.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and key performance metrics used by growth investors.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex business information into clear, compelling narratives.
- Experience engaging directly with investors, analysts, and senior executives.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to operate in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Understanding of ESG, sustainability reporting, and impact-measurement frameworks.
