The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for supporting compliance, safety, environmental stewardship, operational standards, and continuous improvement initiatives at Adventures on the Gorge. This role partners closely with operational leaders, Safety & Risk Solutions, Performance Excellence, and the District Manager to help ensure the property remains compliant, organized, audit-ready, and aligned with Aramark standards and strategic priorities.
The position oversees regulatory tracking, quality assurance programs, sustainability initiatives, documentation systems, and select administrative functions related to facilities, fleet, and technology operations. This individual will also lead special projects and support the development of Standard Operating Procedures across the property.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working across both operational and administrative environments.
Job Responsibilities
Compliance, Safety & Risk
In collaboration with Safety & Risk Solutions, serve as the Safety Champion for Adventures on the Gorge.
Support property-wide compliance with Aramark standards and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Coordinate and track required licenses, permits, inspections, certifications, and regulatory reporting obligations.
Maintain documentation and records associated with compliance activities, including audit readiness and retention standards.
Establish and support recurring internal audit processes and corrective action tracking.
Remain current on applicable laws, regulations, and operational requirements impacting the business.
Quality Assurance & Operational Standards
Partner with department leaders to ensure Quality Assurance (“QA”) assessments, waste tracking, and related reporting are completed accurately in GMM and other required systems.
Implement and maintain department-level Standard Operating Procedures (“SOPs”) through process review, documentation, and ongoing evaluation.
Identify operational gaps, process inefficiencies, or non-conformance issues and help develop corrective action plans.
Assist in developing reports, dashboards, and tracking tools that support operational performance and compliance visibility.
Facilities, Engineering & Asset Management
Serve as MS3 Administrator and maintain the MS3 Master Scheduler and Facility Library systems in partnership with Performance Excellence and Project Management teams.
Coordinate tracking of recurring facility obligations, including inspections, maintenance schedules, certifications, and renewal timelines.
Review CMMS reporting to monitor deferred maintenance items, work order trends, and completion timelines.
Partner with Engineering and Operations to support administration of the Holman Fleet Management system, including asset tracking, maintenance records, lease schedules, and documentation.
Environmental Sustainability
In partnership with Performance Excellence and Environmental Sustainability & Compliance teams, serve as the property liaison for sustainability initiatives.
Support property-wide environmental stewardship programs and compliance efforts, including the Leave No Trace Gold Standard Hospitality designation and related initiatives.
Technology & Administrative Oversight
Supervise the IT Analyst and support prioritization of property technology needs and initiatives.
Coordinate with internal and external partners to help maintain reliable technology infrastructure and operational continuity across the resort.
Support documentation, inventory tracking, vendor coordination, and lifecycle planning for IT-related systems and assets.
Strategic Projects & Planning
In collaboration with the District Manager, Engineering, and Capital Management Design & Construction teams, support property-wide master planning initiatives and AMLER grant-related efforts.
Lead or support district-level projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by the District Manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Hospitality, Safety, Engineering, Operations, Environmental Management, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
3–5 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, facilities administration, operations support, project coordination, or a related field preferred.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to interpret contracts, regulatory requirements, policies, and operational procedures.
Experience preparing reports, maintaining records, and tracking compliance-related documentation.
Demonstrated ability to identify issues, analyze data, and develop practical solutions.
Working knowledge of preventive maintenance practices, facilities operations, or asset management systems preferred.
Experience with CMMS, compliance tracking, or facilities management software preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related business systems.
