Facilities Coordinator - SAGE/Ethos - Dublin, CA
Pay range: $23.00-30.00
Schedule: Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm OR 7am-3:30pm
Who you are
We are seeking a dependable Facilities Technician / Janitorial Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced veterinary hospital environment in Dublin, CA. This role performs custodial, sanitation, and light maintenance duties to ensure a clean, safe, and fully operational medical facility. Ideal candidates have experience in hospital housekeeping, environmental services (EVS), or building maintenance. In this role, you are the backbone of our hospital environment, ensuring that every space is clean, safe, organized, and fully operational so our veterinary staff can focus on what matters most: exceptional patient care. Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout assigned areas of the hospital
- Sweep, mop, wax, and vacuum floors and carpets to maintain a clean environment
- Clean and disinfect hallways, restrooms, common areas, and light fixtures
- Dust and polish furniture and surfaces on a regular schedule
- Empty waste receptacles and manage proper disposal
- Perform minor building and equipment repairs
- Assist with moving and arranging furniture, equipment, and supplies
- Manage supply inventory and coordinate ordering of materials as needed
- Coordinate and oversee vendor relationships for facilities-related services
- Support the team with other duties as assigned by your manager
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Understanding of proper cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
- Basic building and grounds maintenance knowledge
- Ability to operate and maintain janitorial tools and equipment
- Experience with Microsoft Office and online ordering platforms (e.g., Amazon, Staples)
- Ability to complete minor facility repairs
- Strong ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Comfortable using and operating a computer
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and clients
