Materials Engineer - Metallurgist

Serves as the technical support individual within the Warren Engineering group on proper selection and application of materials and material related processes to current products and product manufacturing operations. Applies a thorough knowledge of current principles and practices of metallurgy, materials, heat-treatment, coatings, surface treatments, foundry practices, welding and non-destructive testing to resolve crucial issues and/or unique conditions. Keeps informed of new methods and developments affecting their organization and recommends new practices or changes in emphasis of programs to continually improve the company’s performance.
