Senior Quotations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Senior Quotations Specialist  to join our team. They are responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for projects, supporting the sales team, and helping secure new business. This role plays a key part in ensuring profitability, pricing accuracy, and strong customer relationships.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects, including material, labor, and overhead 

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements 

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing and product availability 

• Work closely with Outside Sales Representatives (OSRs), and project teams on bid strategy and pricing 

• Analyze project risks, opportunities, and margins to ensure competitive and profitable quotes 

• Follow up on submitted quotes to support conversion into orders 

• Manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment 

• Maintain organized documentation of all estimates, revisions, and communications 

• Assist with project handoff to project coordinators and ensure accuracy between estimate and execution 

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2–5+ years of estimating experience (electrical, construction, or related industry preferred) 

• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications 

• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills 

• High attention to detail and accuracy 

• Strong communication and teamwork skills 

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines 

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
