Pennsylvania Inspired Leadership Program (PIL) Independent Contractor
IU 8 is seeking qualified individuals to be added to a pool of course facilitators to support the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s Pennsylvania Inspired Leadership (PIL) Program. The PIL Program provides continuing education for school administrators who fall under the Act 45 requirements.In addition to continuing education, the PIL Program provides a free induction program for all new administrators who are required to complete an induction program under Act 45 requirements.
Based on their background and experience, the course facilitators can be involved in a range of courses, including, but not limited to the following:
Facilitators will be selected based on PIL program needs and how their background and experiences are aligned to the courses offered through the PIL Program.
While facilitators can present themselves with varied backgrounds, the applicant should have at least 5 years in a PK-12 administrative role in a Pennsylvania LEA.
Facilitators are independent contractors of IU8.They are not employees of the IU or PDE, nor is any selected individual guaranteed a minimum number of courses to facilitate.
Applications will be accepted until close of business on June 30, 2025.

INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR STATUS
Contractor is an independent contractor, and neither Contractor nor Contractor's employees or contract personnel are, or shall be deemed, IU 8's employees. As such, the Contractor or their agents are not entitled to coverage under IU 8’s health or workers compensation policies.
