You’ll be the kind of person who finds satisfaction in making things work well behind the scenes, and who understands that strong operations are what allow great mission-driven work to happen.

What You’ll Do

  • Support daily operations and help maintain efficient workflows across all departments
  • Assist in developing and improving organizational systems, policies, and procedures
  • Manage calendars, internal communications, and documentation
  • Help ensure compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations
  • Coordinate with finance staff or external accountants on reporting and audits
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the internship program, supporting staffing logistics and training in collaboration with leadership
  • Support building security protocols and assist with emergency management planning
  • Assist with event logistics on a case-by-case basis, including room bookings, facilities, and catering
  • Assist with database and website maintenance, including data entry, record updates, and basic reporting across platforms such as Salesforce, WordPress, and MailChimp; training provided for the right candidate
  • Help create and manage forms for registrations, surveys, and donations

What You’ll Bring to the Job

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2–4 years of operations, administration, or project management experience, preferably in a nonprofit
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail
  • Comfortable learning new software and digital tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, WordPress, MailChimp, or similar platforms
  • Experience in a mission-driven or Jewish nonprofit organization
  • Experience supporting cross-departmental teams
  • Master’s degree in management or business (MBA, MPP, etc.)

What You’ll Receive

  • Salary range of $55,000–$65,000, competitive in the nonprofit marketplace
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement contributions
  • Professional development and skill-building opportunities
