Territory Sales Manager Our Territory Sales Managers function as Solera Awning Sales Representatives, often called a Residential Awning Experts
This is a commission-based, in-home sales position that does not involve cold calling
The primary responsibility is to travel to scheduled appointments (which are pre-set by Solera’s inside sales team), identify customer needs, and close sales using Solera’s 4- Step proven sales process
This role is based out of the Chicago, IL area
Key Responsibilities Conduct in-home consultations: Travel to customer homes at scheduled times to present Solera awning solutions and determine the best product fit for each homeowner’s needs
Utilize the Solera Sales Process: Consult, educate, and solve customer problems using Solera’s structured and repeatable 4- Step sales program
Achieve sales goals: Maintain a high closing ratio and confirm sales and installation during the initial appointment
Provide 5-Star customer service: Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the entire process, from sale through installation, ensuring a premium customer experience
Develop sales presentations: Deliver a strategic, professional presentation built on coaching, training, and proven best practices
Embrace technology: Use company-provided iPad, sales applications, and visualization tools to streamline and enhance the customer buying experience
Participate in team activities: Attend all required meetings and actively contribute to team discussions and training sessions
Manage assigned territories: Take ownership of assigned customers and geographic territories to maximize sales performance
Qualifications and Expectations Sales experience is preferred; home improvement or in-home sales experience is a plus
Attributes: The ideal candidate is driven, coachable, and professional, with high integrity, a competitive mindset, and strong interpersonal skills
Work Hours: Availability for extended hours during peak season (typically February–October)
Motivation: Must be motivated by both financial success and professional growth
