Compensation
- Competitive salary (based on experience) $75,000-$88,000

Work Schedule

What You'll Do
- Lead quality system development, product safety, and compliance initiatives
- Support New Product Development (NPD) including: PFMEA, DFMEA, design reviews, and product specifications
- Develop and implement: Process control plans, SPC systems, and quality metrics
- Use statistical analysis tools, DOE, and GR&R studies to improve processes
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) using 5 Whys and structured methods
- Direct and mentor Quality Technicians and Specialists
- Develop and deliver training on quality systems, SPC, and continuous improvement tools
- Support supplier quality and vendor audits
- Create and communicate quality performance metrics and reports to leadership
- Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in: Engineering, Quality, Mechanical, Industrial Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or process engineering in manufacturing
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Experience in plastics packaging, food, or medical manufacturing
- Knowledge of ISO, SQF, GMP, and quality systems audits
Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis tools
- Experience with Root cause analysis, DOE, process validation, and capability studies
- Proven ability to lead projects and direct team activities
- Excellent communication and training skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects independently
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Combination of office and production floor environment
- Occasional lifting (up to ~30 lbs for samples or tooling support)
- Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally
