Education and Experience: Completion of HS or equivalent required. Associate’s degree preferred. Previous office support experience preferred.
Abilities: Knowledge of and ability to use good phone etiquette. Proficient at using the telephone system, messaging and general switchboard operations. Ability to handle moderately to highly confidential matters and materials with discretion. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to provide exceptional customer service skills. Knowledge of IVCCD processes and procedures, and the ability to comply. Ability to multi-tasks efficiently and in a timely manner. Ability to exercise good judgment and use critical thinking skills. Ability to work in an environment of shifting priorities and frequent interruptions. Knowledge of computer software programs to include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher. Knowledge of and ability to work in computer systems designed for department work. Knowledge of office machines, such as copiers, printers and fax machines.
Base Wage: $12.86 - $17.15 per hour - actual salary will be based on experience and education.

Summary: The purpose of this position is to provide essential administrative support to the academic office. Responsible for maintaining the District’s curriculum management system and assisting district faculty and administration with completing the curriculum process, including accurate data entry and reporting. Responsible for ensuring accurate data entry between the curriculum management system, the student information system, and the state-wide curriculum system. Responsible for coordinating the district’s student course evaluation process. Responsible for collecting, organizing, and maintaining instructor-related academic documentation for both full-time and adjunct faculty. The position serves as a key point of contact for the Academic Affairs office, delivering responsive customer service and supporting the day-to-day operations and functions of the academic office.

Job Responsibilities:
- CURRICULUM SYSTEM SUPPORT - Maintains and updates the district's curriculum management system with accuracy and completeness, assists with curriculum workflow processes, such as tracking submissions, approvals, and revisions, and supports faculty and academic leadership in navigating the curriculum systems and processes.
- ACADEMIC OFFICE SUPPORT - Provides administrative and operational support to academic leadership by coordinating processes, managing documentation, and assisting with day-to-day needs. Collects, maintains, and organizes instructor-related academic records for full-time and adjunct faculty, including contracts, load sheets, credentials, compliance documents, etc. Performs specialized academic office support work, which requires the exercise of independent judgment, confidentiality, the application of technical skills, and a knowledge of detailed or specialized activities related to the academic office.
- OFFICE OPERATIONS - Support all aspects of ECC academic office operations. Serves as a primary point of contact for the academic office, responding to inquiries from faculty, staff, students, and other stakeholders, assisting with a wide range of academic, administrative, and operational needs. Provides professional customer service, resolving issues or directing inquiries appropriately.
- STUDENT EVALUATIONS - Coordinates and manages the administration of the student evaluation process across the District, including compilation and distribution of reports.
