Lead Cyber Security Steward – Consumer Marketing Technology
Job Description
Job Description
We are looking for a Security Partner that will act as the main liaison between Digital Security, Cluster Leadership in Consumer & Marketing Technology, and Product Teams to ensure security initiatives are effective, proportionate, and aligned with business priorities.
This is a brand-new position to the LEGO Group.
*Please note that no relocation support is offered for this position*
Core Responsibilities
Drive measurable compliance by partnering with Digital Security to assess and validate controls and evidence across teams with varying maturity levels
Build an inclusive, high-performing culture where teams proactively surface risks, challenge assumptions, and improve outcomes
Align cluster leadership (Engineering Directors, Principal Engineers) to prioritise and resource key security initiatives
Enable secure innovation by making balanced, risk-informed decisions across areas such as MarTech, AI, and customer platforms
Provide clear, actionable reporting on security posture, including progress, risks, and delivery timelines
Embed security controls and guardrails into engineering pipelines and architectures to deliver consistent, scalable outcomes
Increase security maturity and awareness by sharing best practices, lessons learned, and success stories across teams
Play your part in our team succeeding
In this role, you will secure a complex, data-driven ecosystem spanning MarTech, identity and consent, customer data platforms, personalization engines, and creator and gaming environments. You will drive security- and compliance-by-design, strengthening identity, entitlements, and partner integrations, and ensuring secure implementation across GenAI, APIs, real-time data flows, and user-generated content platforms. Working closely with product and engineering teams, you will enable secure, scalable solutions by making security practical and aligned to business outcomes.
As a trusted partner to cluster leadership, you will align priorities, influence decisions, and help ensure the right focus and resourcing for security initiatives. You will connect central Digital Security strategy with local execution, driving consistent standards while adapting to business needs. This is an advisory role focused on oversight, guidance, and proactive engagement rather than operational ownership, requiring deep technical judgement, stakeholder influence, and the ability to embed secure-by-design practices in a fast-moving environment.
Do you have what it takes?
Apply security principles effectively across diverse technology domains, including cloud, MarTech, data platforms, identity, AI/ML, and customer-facing applications
Use deep expertise in cybersecurity, threat modelling, and security architecture to guide product teams and inform technical decisions
Operate confidently in modern development environments (cloud platforms, CI/CD, application development), with added value from experience in data platforms, gaming, or user-generated content ecosystems
Communicate complex security concepts clearly and influence decisions across engineering, product, and leadership audiences
Build trusted relationships and drive collaboration across multiple teams and functions
Identify emerging security challenges and deliver pragmatic, adaptable solutions
Remain calm, decisive, and outcome-focused in high-impact situations affecting both business and engineering teams
Advanced English both written and verbal would be ideal as we are an internationally gathered team.
Build your career brick by brick at the LEGO Group.
