Description:
Radiology faculty for BHSF undergraduate radiology education program are responsible for the preparation of pre-licensure radiology students who are eligible to sit for the (ARRT) exam upon graduation. The faculty are responsible for collaborating with affiliate schools in curriculum development, student progress and evaluation. Faculty will provide didactic lecture, skills labs, and oversee clinical rotations consistent with college of radiology objectives and curriculum. Faculty will support BHSF students through mentoring and teaching safe, compassionate, caring, and competent radiologic technicians. Faculty will play an active role in the student transition to the employee role and attend radiology department meetings or committees as needed. Estimated salary range for this position is $76322.21 - $99218.87 / year depending on experience.
Qualifications:
Degrees:
- Bachelors.
- Basic Life Support.
- ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography.
- Bachelors Degree required, Education focus preferred.
- Holds current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification and Registration, or equivalent (an unrestricted state license for the state in which the program is located) in radiography.
- Must have a minimum of two years direct clinical experience in radiology and at least one year experience in teaching didactic lecture and/or clinical/skills labs.
- Competent in MS Office, Word, Power Point, and Excel.
- Ability to lead classroom instruction, organize, and set work priorities in a multi-task environment.
- Knowledgeable of Canvas, Blackboard, and/or additional LMS.
