Paramedic

The transport paramedic provides safe, efficient, and effective advanced life support care during interfacility transports, representing Conemaugh Health System while ensuring high-quality patient care from departure through transfer to the receiving or post-acute facility . This role assumes responsibility and accountability for patient outcomes across all age groups—neonate through geriatric—while practicing within Pennsylvania Department of Health EMS guidelines, maintaining clinical competency, ensuring equipment readiness, assisting within the emergency department as appropriate, and serving as a clinical resource and liaison to support the organization’s mission and standards of excellence .
