Job Summary
Reporting to the Recruitment and Distribution Expansion Head under Distribution, the Head of PRUVenture (PV) Apprentice manages and leads the team tasked to create and run programs to attract and develop qualified individuals to become full time career agents of the company. He or she understands that as a sourcing and development hub, PV Apprentice will complement Distribution’s efforts in organic and inorganic advisor development and will also be a channel where producers are honed to increase the number of active agents and MDRT qualifiers. Thus, all efforts should be directed to ensuring the success of those who signed up in this program.
The Department Head shall be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of this program which include design, implementation, and evaluation, recruitment & selection of candidates, training & development, performance management, compensation & recognition, program expansion & reach, and communication & collaboration with the sales management team and partner leaders.
Apprentice is a feeder for other PV programs.
Job Accountabilities:
Lead and represent PV Apprentice in various workstreams and mgt committees, local or otherwise
Design, implement, and evaluate the program
Promote to and engage agency leaders to subscribe to PV Apprentice
Define key result areas and build indicators to achieve program objectives aligned with company’s goals and directions. This includes number of active agents, number of agents validating, First Year Premium generated, etc
Provide continuous development interventions to every member of the team.
Ensure that PV Apprentice adheres to Market Conduct Guidelines as well as Pru Life UK’s Compliance Standards.

Job Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in business management, marketing, communications
Domain knowledge of the industry: processes, basic plans, compensation, and R&I
With industry certification (e,g., FLMI, CTEP, CWP, etc)
Recruitment
Leadership and management
Communication
Negotiating and Influencing
Reports and analysis
7 years of sales management and/or training experience preferably gained from a life insurance company
