Team Summary: The AMS Work Visa team is dedicated to ensuring compliance with U.S. immigration laws and regulations across the Americas region. We manage vendor relationships, oversee immigration case workflows, and support employees throughout their visa and work authorization processes. Our team collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to maintain accurate documentation and uphold the integrity of all immigration-related activities.
TikTok is seeking to hire an People Operations Data Analyst, supporting the US Visa Services team, focused on immigration & mobility domains. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with multiple domestic and global stakeholders to support our continued growth and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a resource for the employee mobility services team for general information on operational workflow status and metrics.
- Follow strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to conduct daily tasks to ensure workflows are appropriately followed and reflected in program data.
- Work with several different types of technology to find, collect, and organize various types of data as well as present metrics in a way that is easy to understand.
- Interpret various forms of data by analyzing large-scale datasets from diverse sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, keeping track of dataset quality.
- Use logical and analytical skills to audit and interpret data to determine what their findings mean for stakeholders.
- Develop trend analysis and data modeling solutions to support proactive incident and vendor performance management.
- Assist with data audits as required, including invoice reviews for billing matters.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a data analyst, with a strong preference for those with direct experience in People/HR analytics.
- Experience with data management and analytics tools (e.g. Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, Power BI, PowerApps) to derive insights and drive process adherence.
- Proven analytical skills for large datasets, with the ability to identify current and potential issues.
- High ethical standards and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with HR operations teams with the capacity to understand performance metrics for business needs.
- Storytelling and data visualization experience.
- Responsive and positive work attitude with the ability to deal with challenging tasks.
- Experience in a high-volume, high-intensity tech environment.
