This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure that the technical capabilities align with the product vision, customer needs, and market trends
The Tech Lead coordinates the team of monitoring officers to design, develop, and implement projects and improvements, ensuring the platform is secure, scalable, and easily maintainable
He understands stakeholders’
and translates them into technical solutions
He also identifies opportunities to optimize and improve the platform’s performance, monitors usage, and identifies potential areas of risk
The Tech Lead contributes to the technical readiness of the Monitoring team, sharing his knowledge and identifying rooms for collective improvement
Main missions The Dynatrace Tech Lead manages the Dynatrace platform, leading a team of dedicated resources in different countries, and collaborating with counterparts from multiple AXA entities
They ensure that all monitoring
are met and contribute to answering observability needs, fulfilling Quality of Service
in various AXA GO and Opcos business areas (Cloud ecosystem, Identity, Integration solutions, CyberDefense, Corporate functions, Opco business applications) with different project sizes (30 to 100 man-days) within an annual budget around 1M€ (including licenses, professional services, and fixed prices)
Additionally, they contribute to increasing the maturity of GO and Opcos in terms of observability and quality of service measurement, through delivering expertise to transformation programs such as Harmony Pillar 5 (Monitoring automation and event management) or Atlas (move to cloud)
Finally, they define the roadmap of the Dynatrace platform in line with the vision of the product and the priorities of AXA GO
Technical expertise : In-depth technical knowledge of Dynatrace SaaS (Infra & App monitoring, GRAIL, Monaco framework, Automation Workflows) and other relevant technologies related to observability
Ability to design and implement solutions that meet stakeholder needs and are secure, scalable, and easily maintainable
Familiarity with other monitoring and Log analysis tools, data visualization, and performance monitoring
Leadership : Lead a team of monitoring officers to implement projects, improvements, and modifications to the platform
Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the required standard
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team
Communication : Collaborate effectively with stakeholders (including business analysts, project managers, and other technical teams) to understand
and translate them into technical solutions
Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner
Work collaboratively with other teams and individuals to achieve common objectives and resolve cross-functional issues that arise
Problem-solving : Proactive identification of potential issues and their resolution, including researching and testing solutions
Analyze complex technical problems and provide practical solutions
Troubleshoot and debug issues on the platform and propose solutions for their resolution
Strategic thinking : Provide input in platform strategy and long-term planning and identify areas for optimization and improvement
Conduct analysis to inform evidence-based decision-making and promote continuous improvement of the platform
Able to balance business goals with technical feasibility
Mentoring : Coach and mentor junior team members to ensure they can meet technical objectives and grow professionally
Create and lead training programs on Dynatrace platform and related technologies
Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and documentation
Expected skills & experience We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills: Experience on DYNATRACE Platform : Lead technical activities related to Dynatrace platform delivery
Defining and implementing platform configurations Maintaining up to date documentation (design, architecture & procedures) Regularly reviewing and optimizing the platform performance to ensure optimal usage of resources and cost-effectiveness
Implementing upgrades, patches, and other enhancements
Contributes to the definition and the roadmap of Dynatrace platform
Ensure the application of Security, Risk, and data privacy compliance
Communicate with the software editor
DYNATRACE Monitoring capabilities deployment Assess GO and Opcos’ products’ needs in terms of observability and monitoring
Design and implement the appropriate solutions to onboard new scopes to the Dynatrace platform
Contribute to the end-to-end monitoring view by providing alerts and metrics related to covered scopes
Transformation /Innovation Contribute to the building of the platform’s roadmap in line with Global Product’s vision and with AXA GO strategy and priorities
Perform Continuous Improvement and market/technology watch
Apply IT transformation in line with GO priorities (Agile, Digital)
Participate in different transformation and accelerator initiatives or programs
Technical skills Strong understanding of monitoring tools, techniques, and methodologies
Strong experience in Dynatrace (Infra & App monitoring, GRAIL, Monaco framework, Automation Workflows)
A certification is appreciated
Python scripting, Puppet tool knowledge
Scrum Agile and DevOps methodology Project management skills
Familiarity with cloud computing environments and emerging trends in the industry
Strong general knowledge in IT and Datacenter architecture, from network, infrastructure layer to middleware, web architecture, identity management, and authentication
