We are looking for a qualified EV Technician II (Experienced / Skilled Field Technician).
We are looking for a qualified EV Technician II (Experienced / Skilled Field Technician).
The EV Technician II role is a skilled field position for experienced construction professionals supporting EV charging infrastructure projects. This role requires hands-on experience with construction equipment, underground utilities, and site coordination, with increased responsibility in daily field execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and assist with construction equipment such as mini-excavators, skid steers, and trenchers
- Support underground electrical and civil construction scopes
- Install conduit, equipment bases, pads, and EV site infrastructure
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and site layouts
- Assist with layout, measurements, and site coordination activities
- Mentor and support EV Technician I team members when needed
- Maintain safe, efficient, and productive jobsite operations
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Prior construction experience required
- Ability to operate construction equipment
- Experience with underground utility or electrical work preferred
- CDL preferred but not required
- OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification (can be obtained after hire)
- Willingness to travel as required
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently when needed
- Bilingual: English / Spanish
