POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director, Impact Measurement & Management (IMM) is responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise-wide framework used to define, measure, analyze, and report the Bank’s impact performance. This role translates mission-driven objectives into measurable outcomes and ensures alignment with regulatory, investor, and certification requirements.
The Director leads the design and governance of impact measurement systems, including development of logic models, key performance indicators (KPIs), and outcome tracking methodologies. The role is accountable for ensuring data integrity, consistency, and traceability across all impact metrics, and for producing reporting that meets external standards such as ECIP, CDFI Fund requirements, and B Lab certification.
This position partners cross-functionally with business leaders, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and external stakeholders to integrate impact measurement into core business processes. The Director also manages a small team responsible for data collection, validation, and reporting, and serves as the primary point of contact for external audits, certifications, and industry engagement related to impact performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Impact Strategy & Framework Design
Develop and maintain enterprise impact measurement framework, including logic models, KPIs, and outcome definitions
Translate organizational mission and strategy into measurable indicators and reporting structures
Establish standards for impact measurement methodologies and documentation practices
Evaluate and implement new measurement approaches aligned with industry standards
Data Governance, Analysis & Reporting
Oversee data collection processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Define data governance protocols, including validation controls and documentation standards
Review and analyze impact data to identify trends, gaps, and performance insights
Produce required internal and external impact reports in accordance with defined schedules and standards
Regulatory & Certification Compliance
Ensure compliance with ECIP, CDFI Fund, B Lab, and other applicable reporting frameworks
Coordinate data submissions, audits, and certification processes
Maintain records and documentation required to support regulatory reviews and external verification
Monitor changes to regulatory or certification requirements and update frameworks accordingly
Complete all required compliance training within designated timeframes.
Team Leadership & Project Oversight
Supervise and assign work to Impact Data Analyst and Impact Operations Manager
Establish performance expectations and monitor deliverables against defined timelines
Manage cross-functional projects related to impact measurement and reporting
Oversee vendor relationships supporting data, analytics, or reporting functions
Stakeholder Engagement & Integration
Partner with internal teams to integrate impact measurement into business processes
Provide data and reporting to leadership to support strategic decision-making
Coordinate with external partners, coalitions, and research organizations as needed
Deliver training on impact measurement processes, tools, and requirements
Industry Representation & Continuous Improvement
Participate in industry forums, working groups, and external collaborations
Contribute to development of best practices in impact measurement and management
Identify process improvements and implement enhancements to systems, tools, and reporting

The incumbent is in a non-confined office-type setting in which they are free to move about at will. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, public policy, economics, data analytics, or related field
Minimum 7 years of professional experience in impact measurement, performance analytics, ESG, or a related discipline
Minimum 10 years of overall professional work experience
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., financial services, banking, or similar)
Minimum 5 years of experience managing vendors or third-party service providers
Demonstrated experience developing or implementing measurement frameworks (e.g., logic models, KPI systems, or outcome tracking)
Demonstrated experience working with structured data sets and producing analytical reports
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a related field
Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP or equivalent)
Experience supporting or complying with CDFI Fund, ECIP, B Lab, or similar frameworks
Experience managing direct reports and leading cross-functional initiatives
Experience designing organizational strategy frameworks (e.g., OKRs or similar models)
Experience producing externally published reports, white papers, or industry presentations
Experience working in financial health, economic mobility, or community development sectors
