Job Description
Pharmasave #406 is looking for a full-time Post Office Supervisor to join our team in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily Post Office operations, ensuring efficiency, accurate transactions, and compliance with company policies and loss prevention procedures
Lead, train, and support Post Office staff while fostering a positive, team-oriented workplace and maintaining a professional public image
Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and resolve issues promptly, including maintaining high standards of phone etiquette
Manage inventory and cashiering processes; implement systems to streamline workflow and improve productivity
Collaborate with the front store team to boost Post Office visibility and support sales initiatives
Assist the Front Store Manager with performance reviews and other related administrative tasks
Perform additional duties as needed to support the Front Store Manager and Store Operator/Pharmacy Manager
Qualifications:
Supervisory experience in retail or sales preferred; Canada Post experience is an asset
Skilled in organization, time management, prioritization, and independent decision-making
Strong verbal and written communication with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
Familiarity with cashiering systems, merchandising, and retail operations is beneficial
Proven ability to recruit, train, and lead staff effectively
Capable of managing conflict, solving problems, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Professional, cooperative demeanour with a polished appearance and adherence to company image standards
Able to carry out assigned goals and tasks set by management
Must be physically able to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for up to 8 hours per shift
May be required to lift or move items up to 50 lbs. and occasionally use a ladder
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
Must be willing to complete a Criminal Record Check due to the nature of the role
Schedule:
40 hours per week.
The regular shifts will typically be scheduled between Monday and Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
