The CRM and Digital Project Success Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, management, execution, and optimization of email and other digital engagement initiatives across the organization. This role serves as a cross-functional partner within External Affairs, leveraging the organization’s CRM platform and digital communication tools to elevate our brand experience and strengthen engagement with current and potential donors, volunteers, advocates, policy makers, and staff.
This position combines data analysis, project management, CRM administration, email and digital communications, and collaboration to support organizational growth and mission impact. The CRM and Digital Project Success Manager will oversee email marketing strategy and execution, audience segmentation, automated communication journeys, reporting and analytics, and digital project management while helping maximize the organization’s investment in Bloomerang and related technologies.

Your Mission:
- Research, Data Gathering and Analysis
- Collaborate with the Associate Director of Advancement Services and Capital Campaign Operations, Director of Development, Annual Giving Officer, and Assistant Director and Director of Marketing and Communications to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret email data from the CRM and other digital platforms.
- Monitor donor trends, audience engagement metrics, email performance, and A/B testing results to identify opportunities for improved outreach and engagement strategies.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to CRM workflows, digital giving forms, audience segmentation, and website integration.
- Utilize reporting and analytics to evaluate campaign performance and guide continuous improvement efforts.
- Leverage AI-powered tools within Bloomerang and other digital platforms to improve efficiency, personalization, and audience engagement.
- Collaboration and Connection
- Serve as a key liaison among the Development, Marketing and Communications, Advocacy, and Volunteer teams within External Affairs to ensure aligned messaging, managed execution, and timely project completion.
- Lead cross-functional digital campaign timelines, deliverables, audience targeting, and communication schedules across departments.
- Manage collaboration related to content development, including written messaging, graphics, audience segmentation, and technical email deployment.
- Work closely with the Annual Giving Officer and external partners, to align digital communication strategies with direct mail campaigns and broader fundraising initiatives.
- Partner with internal stakeholders including the Associate Director of Advancement Services and Campaign Operations, Volunteer Coordinator, Government Relations and Advocacy Officer, and Marketing and Communications team members to support organization-wide engagement goals.
- Facilitation and Execution
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive email communication strategy supporting fundraising, donor cultivation and stewardship, volunteer engagement, network partner communications, advocacy efforts, Foodies communications, event promotion, and organizational awareness with support from teams across the Food Bank.
- Build and execute both one-time and automated email campaigns, including welcome series, volunteer registration workflows, donor stewardship sequences, lapsed donor re-engagement campaigns, campaigns focused on advocacy, and other audience-based communication paths.
- Manage audience segmentation, email deployment, deliverability, quality assurance, and campaign performance tracking.
- Develop and write compelling email copy and digital communication content that aligns with organizational messaging, fundraising goals, donor engagement strategies, volunteer outreach, and advocacy initiatives.
- Maintain and optimize communication workflows within the CRM platform to support scalability and long-term engagement strategies.
- Identify opportunities to expand digital communication capabilities and improve organizational efficiency through strategic use of CRM technology and automation tools.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, data analytics tools, and relevant business software such as Bloomerang, and WYSIWYG.
Your Story:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Nonprofit Management, eCommerce, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of marketing, annual giving, donor relations, or eCommerce project management required.
- Expertise in using robust CRM platforms is a plus.
- Lived experience with the impacts of systemic racism or marginalization is a plus.
