Job Description
What does a Fleet Technician at Swire Coca-Cola do?This is a full-time industrial level auto-mechanic position, responsible for performing maintenance, running diagnostics and repairing our medium to heavy duty diesel trucks and trailers. You will inspect fleet vehicles, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and play a crucial role in keeping our trucks safe and on the road!
Job Details:
Schedule: 2nd shift 12:30pm - 9:00pm
Pay: $31.50/HR
Job Level: 2Responsibilities:
Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules.
Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma (or GED) required
ASE Certified Diesel Mechanic preferred
2-4 years diagnostic, maintenance and repair of Class 7 & 8 diesel trucks and trailers required
Own set of tools and understanding the best practice for how to use required tools
