Founding Engineer (Frontend + Design)

We believe that while AI will automate a lot of low-level tasks, that this will dramatically increase the value of human connection at the highest level.

In a world full of ‘AI SDRs’, our warm connections become more important than ever.

Yet today, keeping track of thousands of connections across countless social platforms is impossible. We forget to respond, we miss important moments, we lose touch.

We bring together every connection, across every platform. Our AI researches everything they’ve ever posted online, and uses its deep understanding of each person to help you achieve your goals; whether hiring, fundraising, or sales.

We’re backed by cofounders from Hugging Face and Slack, the Head of Sales at Superhuman, Craft Ventures Scout Fund, a16z Scout Fund, and Founders Inc.

Following our pre-seed round, we’re hiring for our first engineers: a founding backend engineer, and a founding design engineer.

Your role as our founding engineer (frontend + design) will be to work on our native mac and iOS applications. You will take full ownership of our frontend applications, including architecture, networking, ui, and animations.

You will be design-focused and pixel-perfect. You see yourself as an artist, and want to build the most beautiful, usable software in the world.

The role will span beyond the traditional bounds of engineering… As an early hire you will be expected to take shared overall ownership of the product, speak to users, and ensure an incredible user experience. We’re in this together; we win as a team and lose as a team.

Our backend is all written in python, with FastAPI, hosted on Supabase, AWS ECS, and Lambda functions. We use a variety of models for different use cases, but predominantly OpenAI. Our frontend is all native swift, with MVVM architecture and the latest SwiftUI patterns. 

You could be the right fit if you’re a top-tier product and design-minded swift engineer with founding/startup experience.

We don’t care about traditional ‘credentials’, we care about grit. You will be an outlier with a demonstrated track record of achieving greatness and overcoming exceptionally hard problems.

As for values: you believe relationships are everything. You care about the people you work with. You give more than you take. You take artistic pride in everything you do. You know that ‘good enough’ is not good enough.

We work exceptionally hard. You should expect a minimum of 60-80 hours per week. If work isn’t your primary focus, this isn’t for you. You need to be all-in.

However, we stand by our belief that relationships are everything. That means your family and friends as well. You will be there for your family and friends when they need you, and you will find time to achieve your work goals around that. We don’t care when you work exceptionally hard, only that you do. Your schedule is up to you.
