
Maintenance Mechanic - Night Shift (12 hr) - $27.95 - $32.54
Job Description
Our 401K program matches employee contributions up to 6%. On average, employees receive 11 paid holidays throughout the year and earn vacation time. - Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Identify and look up parts in MP2 maintenance program.
- Use hand tools and other required equipment.
- Troubleshoot independently all types of mechanical equipment, hydraulics, mobile equipment, utilities and basic electrical controls.
- Repair equipment with little documentation.
- Provide improvement to preventative maintenance program by creating task lists.
- Drive root cause analysis and implementation of long term solutions.
- Use a drill press, band saw, lathe, grinder, test gauges, welding, burning and electrical equipment as needed.
- Make recommendations and updates to equipment which result in an improvement to technical downtime.
- Help train maintenance grade 10 employees.
- Effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and other departments as regarding work accomplishments and findings.
- Participate in L1 meetings, perform safety system requirements, log work hours and comments on work orders in MP2 maintenance software.

- Technical degree and/or 5 years' experience
