The Maintenance Mechanics will be accountable for:
- Daily mechanical monitoring of production equipment
- Facilitation of a Preventative Maintenance Program and PVM systems
- Corrective maintenance duties, troubleshooting, and returning machinery to operating standards.
- Training and coaching operators in support of the business objective of improving the mechanical skill and equipment knowledge base throughout the Site.
- Education Required: Associate's Degree or Certification in a Maintenance related field
- Years of Experience: 1 year of relevant experience
- Must possess highly developed mechanical skills (i.e., Journeyman Mechanic) or must have strong mechanical aptitude (Job Knowledge testing will be done, as required, for both comprehension [written] and skill [hands-on]).
- Must be able to perform simple mathematical computations, such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication, and reading tape measures.
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks without losing sight of safety and quality expectations.
- Must be a team player. Candidates must have demonstrated a positive attitude and the ability to work with others.
- Must be safety conscious - this job requires a high level of safety awareness. Candidates must be able to communicate their commitment to working safely and to discuss past contributions to creating a safe work environment for both them and their fellow co-workers.
- Must be quality conscious and must be able to perform quality audits and to take follow-up steps when necessary.

- Must be willing to attend specified training seminars, workshops, and course work.
- Must be willing to troubleshoot with other departments (i.e., E&I, Operations etc.) to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Must be willing and able to train and coach others as needed.
