About the Role: As a Residential Specialist, you’ll provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a home environment. Using a person-centered approach, you’ll empower clients to engage in daily life, make choices, and gain independence. Location: Chula Vista Pay: The pay for this position is $20.00 to $20.65. Schedule: The schedule for this position is Fri- Sun 3p- 11p. Who you are: Compassionate individual who genuinely enjoys helping others. A typical day will include: Provide hands-on, person-centered care in a residential setting Assist with daily activities like personal care, hygiene, eating, cooking, cleaning, getting dressed and undressed, mobility, and personal organization. Encourage independence by supporting individuals in achieving personal goals. Create a safe, respectful, and engaging home environment. What you’ll need to be successful: High school diploma or GED Six (6) months experience working with individuals with disabilities Valid California Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
