GI Psychologist

The provider will serve as a dedicated, specialized GI psychologist and will operate primarily out of the ambulatory clinics within the Digestive Health Center except in very limited circumstances when GI psych expertise is needed for a hospitalized patient.   The primary function of the GI psychologist is to provide diagnostic assessment, complex medication management and psychotherapy-based practices including ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and CBD (Cognitive Based Therapy) to support complex patients with chronic gastrointestinal diseases such as inflammatory bowel...
