As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the initiative to design, build, and configure software applications. This role requires taking ownership as the main point of contact for the project, coordinating various activities to ensure smooth progress. The position demands active engagement in planning, overseeing development tasks, and ensuring that the application meets the desired specifications and quality standards. Collaboration with different stakeholders to align project goals and deliverables is a key aspect of the daily routine, along with troubleshooting and refining application configurations to optimize performance and usability.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the coordination of project activities to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to align expectations and resolve issues.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Configuration & Release Management.
- Strong knowledge of version control systems and release automation tools.
- Experience in managing software build processes and deployment pipelines.
- Ability to troubleshoot configuration issues and implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and change management processes.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Configuration & Release Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
