What are the Key Deliverables in this role?
Financial Outcomes
- Anchoring consolidation of P&L, Working capital and cash flow for India branded businesses (excluding RTD) as well as providing variance analysis on results (vs PY, Budget and Latest Estimate) to provide financial insights. This will then be shared for Flash reporting (with Group CFO) as well as preparation of monthly review decks for Excom
The incumbent will also work with the business teams to reduce discrepancy between internal and SAP/ BPC numbers
- Leading Quarterly forecasts (including drafting the presentation for senior management) of total India Branded Business (excluding RTD); keeping track of actual delivery vs targets received from senior management and helping in highlighting potential risks and opportunities
- Circulation of NPD performance for all businesses every quarter including consolidation
- Preparation and discussion of AOP and Latest Quarter estimate for Working capital and cash flow for Packaged Food and Beverage business
- AOP and MTP consolidation (Mid term review plan) including providing analysis to support strategic decision making and highlighting potential risks and opportunities
- Ensure standardization of reporting practices and consistency of KPIs and templates used across different teams
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis requests and special projects as needed.
Internal Processes
- Finance Transformation & Automation – Lead MIS reporting and Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting (PBF) automation by partnering with Digital teams, business users, and vendors; ensure design, UAT sign‑off, and successful delivery of transformation initiatives.
- Governance & Stabilization – Act as the bridge between Business Finance and Digital teams to establish governance post go‑live; own GL/PC/CC matrix, ensure SOP compliance, drive data hygiene, and enable accurate MIS reporting and digitization adoption.
- Oversight on the monthly closing process for Packaged Beverages, Packaged Foods and Soulfull businesses. Drive standardization across the three categories wherever applicable
Customer Service
- Responsible for all reporting deliverables w.r.t Business finance to various stake holders– Category team, Investor relations, Group FP&A and Corporate & Group finance
- Finance transformation – Ensure complete automation of MIS and PBF so that maximum time is spent by the users and incumbent on business partnering and analysis
Innovation and Learning
- Build understanding of the different businesses to support leaders on challenging assumptions on growth and margins
