POSITION SUMMARY
We are currently recruiting for experienced and enthusiastic Chefs De Partie to join our kitchen brigade. As Chef de Partie, you will be required to supervise your section in the kitchen, ensuring it is fully prepared for service times whilst supervising all phases of food production. You will assist the kitchen’s management team and supervisors to run the kitchen operation with professionalism, and will carry full responsibility for food quality and service of the assigned section. This will be accomplished through proper training and direction of other kitchen associates, and in compliance to company standards of quality, portion control, recipes, and sanitation as outlined by Marriott Policies.
Qualifications and Skills
There are a range of qualifications, skills and characteristics we are looking for to fill this role successfully. These include:
• Formal culinary training diploma or equivalent
• Luxury hotel or 5* hotel and restaurant training experiences
• Supervisory experience within a high volume operation
• Genuine interest in producing quality foods
• Calm and organised even under pressure
• Excellent food safety and hygiene standards
