Job Description
Position Overview Responsible for business development and strategic partnerships for TikTok Shop in Southeast Asia. The role focuses on building key partnerships and driving collaborative projects with regional business partners to support user growth, merchant expansion, brand cooperation, content, and channel development. The role also focuses on building a cross-industry collaboration ecosystem, fostering strategic partnerships, joint initiatives, and integrated resource sharing to accelerate platform growth and strengthen market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnership Strategy: Identify potential partners based on regional e-commerce trends, develop collaboration plans, and focus on user growth, user experience, and enterprise partnerships, ensuring alignment with market opportunities.
- Strategic Partnership Development: Build long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships and drive cross-industry collaboration initiatives to enhance ecosystem value.
- Market Insights & Opportunity Identification: Monitor Southeast Asia market trends, identify new business opportunities, and propose innovative strategies.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with internal teams to turn strategic plans into actionable projects and ensure efficient resource coordination.
- Project Oversight & Optimization: Track progress and outcomes of partnership initiatives, conduct regular reviews, and propose improvements to achieve business goals and increase operational efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree or above
- Proficient in English
- 3 years+ of experience in e-commerce strategic or business development, with knowledge of the Southeast Asia market.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills; able to drive cross-team collaboration.
- Proficient in Mandarin and English to communicate with muti-national brands and business partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Adaptable to multicultural environments, and able to communicate effectively with diverse partners.
- Strong market insight and cross-industry strategic thinking, with the ability to quickly adjust strategies based on market changes.
