Job Description
Main areas of responsibility:
- Assemble, inspect and complete finished products in line with production schedules, work instructions and quality standards
- Identify, record and report defects, deviations or quality concerns to the Supervisor or Quality team
- Ensure correct labelling, packaging and documentation of finished goods
- Clean down units after working on them (using hoovers and cleaning sprays)
- Using drill and impactor if needed
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area in line with 6S and Health & Safety requirements
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality procedures and safety guidelines at all times
- Accurately complete production records, check sheets and other required documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean activities
- Work collaboratively with team members, Supervisors, Quality and Engineering to achieve daily production targets
- Assist with training of new operators when required
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Health, Safety & Quality
- Comply fully with all Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Ensure work is completed in compliance with company quality standards, ISO requirements and customer specifications
You will also be expected to carry out any additional duties that may be assigned to you by the company from time to time.
