A career at Old Course Hotel, what’s not to love? *All benefits subject to availability About the Role Our award-winning Food and Beverage team are at the hub of our business, we have an exciting opportunity for Servers to join our Road Hole Bar overlooking the Old Course.The Road Hole Bar has whisky enthusiasts flock from around the world to sample some of the three hundred whiskies we stock from all over Scotland. The bar also has an excellent selection of cocktails, champagnes and wines for our guests to enjoy. You will be primarily ensuring the smooth running of the service in the Road Hole Bar whilst providing guests with exceptional service, resulting in an experience that our guests expect. Your responsibilities will include: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, offering drinks and menus in a timely manner. Take and deliver accurate orders while ensuring prompt and professional service. Set up, stock, and maintain the bar area before, during, and after service. Ensure cleanliness, organisation, and readiness of all service areas. Support colleagues and the Bar Management team in smooth daily operations. Anticipate guest needs and personalise service to create memorable experiences. Engage with guests professionally, demonstrating a deep knowledge of beverage offerings. Handle guest inquiries, feedback, or concerns with grace and efficiency. Process billing accurately and efficiently using the hotel’s POS system. Handle all payments responsibly, ensuring correct cash handling and reconciliation.
