As a Claims Specialist, you will play a critical role in handling and resolving AXA XL’s claims for the Multinational Casualty team
You will work closely with your manager and fellow claims colleagues to drive files to resolution and will interact and collaborate frequently with the underwriting team and other business partners
Together, you will be tasked with achieving the best possible outcomes for AXA XL and its insureds by resolving and settling claims proactively

include
End-to-end claims management: conduct initial assessment, document review, liability analysis, settlement decisions, and closure for complex multinational casualty claims, ensuring compliance with local laws and AXA XL standards
Multi-jurisdictional responsibility: review coverage, manage assigned claims across multiple jurisdictions, and set case strategy in collaboration with mentors and claims leadership
Legal and settlement strategy: partner with internal and external counsel to develop effective, cost-efficient litigation or settlement strategies
Stakeholder collaboration: coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders (underwriting, brokers, reinsurers, external vendors, clients); participate in new account and renewal meetings as needed
Knowledge development and consistency: collaborate with mentors to develop claim handling, reserve, and resolution strategies; share best practices and learnings across the team
Reporting and reserves: produce internal reporting and ensure reserves are set in line with best-practice guidelines; monitor and adjust as needed
Trends and risk awareness: identify, monitor, and report on emerging liability and coverage trends; contribute to risk mitigation discussions

bring We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Required Skills and Abilities: Intermediate experience with managing insurance claims, multinational casualty exposure preferred
Organization and communication: excellent organizational skills; strong verbal and written communication; ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Analytical and negotiation skills: strong analytical capabilities, sound judgment, data-driven decision making, and effective negotiation skills
Collaborative Approach: Develop and maintain productive working relationships with insured, brokers, Claim Handlers & Underwriters
Provide guidance and seek input from others as needed to achieve the best results
Capable of working and collaborating within a virtual team environment with either local or remote supervision
Results Oriented: Approach tasks proactively and anticipate needs
Think quickly and prioritize multiple work streams without sacrificing quality
