Segra is searching for a qualified and experienced Mid Market Account Manager to join us in a full-time capacity.
Location Requirement: Lincoln, NE
Role Overview:The Mid‑Market Account Manager (MAM) is responsible for retaining and growing revenue within an existing customer base by building strong relationships, identifying expansion opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role carries a new revenue quota and focuses on driving uplift revenue while minimizing churn across assigned accounts.You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for mid‑market customers, working closely with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet evolving business needs.
What You’ll Do
Grow revenue within an assigned base of existing mid‑market customers through upsell and expansion opportunities
Manage and renew customer contracts to increase retention and reduce churn
Build proposals using Segra’s full portfolio of connectivity, cloud, and managed services
Deliver effective sales presentations and quarterly account reviews
Use CRM tools (Microsoft Dynamics or similar) to manage opportunities, forecasting, and reporting
Coordinate with Sales Engineering and Customer Care to ensure successful order fulfillment and on‑time delivery
Maintain accurate customer records, contracts, and sales documentation
Identify and pursue new logo opportunities within the existing customer base
Qualifications:Education- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field — or equivalent work experience
Experience
2+ years of telecommunications or technology sales experience
Experience selling solutions such as connectivity, cloud, storage, security, or managed services
Prior ILEC/CLEC or enterprise‑level sales experience preferred
Experience supporting mid‑market and/or enterprise customers is a plus
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
Effective time management and organization
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
Ability to develop strategic account plans aligned to customer needs
Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction
Comfortable conducting quarterly business reviews and executive‑level conversations

Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 + commissions
