Postdoctoral Research Associate I

Design, conduct, and perform research experiments. Write manuscripts and progress reports. Prepare postdoctoral fellowship applications and contribute to other grant submissions. Serve as a day-to-day mentor for undergraduate and/or graduate students. Present research at internal lab meetings, local symposia, and national conferences. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Extensive knowledge of RNA-binding proteins, especially double-stranded RNA-binding proteins Strong foundational skills in computational analysis of RNA-seq and CLIP-seq data. Working knowledge of immunofluorescence and immunoprecipitation assays.
