Therapist, Inpatient - PRN
Job Description
- Provide group therapy, family therapy, and individual therapy for assigned patients.
- May work with children, adolescents, and adults ages 5-35.
- Coordinates care with other relevant internal and external providers.
- Available to provide coverage for other Therapists when absent or as the need arises.
- Contributes to the interdisciplinary team the perspective of their unique training in the area of family systems and/or social work theory.
- Maintains current competency in effective de-escalation of patients using Collaborative Problem Solving ©, therapeutic self, relationship-based care, and trauma informed care, as applicable to role.
- Oriented and educated in gender, cultural differences, and age appropriate care for the assigned department.
Qualifications
- Two years previous mental health experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in intensive psychiatric healthcare settings preferred.
- Experience using electronic health records preferred.
- Ability to maintain required malpractice insurance.
- Have computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office products including Outlook and Word.
Pay range for this position is $39.45- $48.00 hourly depending on education, licensure, and experience.
