Salary: $95,000–$110,000 annually
Employment Type: Full-Time | Field Based

- Conduct onsite visits, walkthroughs, and formal audits across childcare centers
- Evaluate compliance with DOHMH Article 47, OCFS regulations, NYC Health Code, and company standards
- Identify risks and implement corrective action plans to prevent violations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for licensing, inspections, and regulatory agencies
- Support licensing renewals, inspection readiness, and compliance documentation
- Manage relationships with DOHMH, OCFS, and DOE stakeholders
- Coach and train center leadership and staff on compliance protocols and safety standards
- Translate regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance
- Partner with operations and training teams to strengthen compliance practices
- Maintain audit-ready documentation including licensing records, incident reports, and compliance logs
- Prepare reports on compliance trends, risks, and performance across centers
- Monitor regulatory updates and ensure timely implementation of changes
- Respond to compliance-related issues with urgency and sound judgment
- Partner cross-functionally to improve systems, processes, and compliance workflows
- Drive continuous improvement across the NY Metro portfolio
- 5+ years of experience in childcare operations, compliance, licensing, or quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of childcare licensing regulations, preferably within New York City or New York State
- Experience with DOHMH, OCFS, and NYC Health Code requirements preferred
- Experience supporting Pre-K or 3-K programs or DOE compliance a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Public Health, Business, or related field
- Proven experience conducting audits, managing inspections, and implementing corrective action plans
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and documentation practices
- Ability to manage a field-based schedule across multiple locations
