Essential Functions
Provide the educational expertise to instructors and training management to ensure that all training follows the Systematic Approach to Training
Work as part of a cross-functional team to create training products that meet Susquehanna Nuclear, industry and regulatory standards and expectations
Demonstrate excellent communication to enhance organizational effectiveness. Must be able to explain abstract concepts to people from diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
Organize and perform work activities independently, and handle multiple assignments with specific time constraints
Conduct training delivery as required. Present classroom lectures, develop computer-based training (CBT), and administer trainee evaluations
Perform benchmarking and self-assessments and develop plans to improve Susquehanna's training processes and behaviors
Evaluate instructors and provide feedback to improve performance
Track and trend information to identify areas for improvement and recommend methods to improve performance
Support the station in an outage support role
Perform Emergency Response Organization position and duties, as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
B.S. or B.A. in Adult Education, Education, or a related field
Five years related work experience in applying the Systematic Approach to Training in highly technical and high-risk business environments
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to work as an effective member of a team
Ability to conduct training as an instructor and a facilitator
Ability to conduct comprehensive, critical self-assessments and recommend actions to correct any identified deficiencies
Preferred Qualifications
Detailed knowledge of the Institute of Nuclear Power Operators (INPO) Accreditation process and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) training process is preferred
M.S. in Instructional Technology or M.Ed. in a related field of study
