Job Description:

The Engineering & Property Services (E&PS) department is the backbone of our critical infrastructure, leading all aspects of the design, operation, and maintenance of buildings, HVAC systems, utilities, and installations across our sites in Belgium. From centralized production and distribution systems to chemical and pharmaceutical production and R&D facilities.

J&J IM is recruiting for a Facility Manager reporting to the Sr. Manager FM Site Lead and to be based in La Louvière, Belgium.

We are looking for a Facility Manager who can think strategically while also having a passion for practical execution. In this role, you will be responsible for managing energy and utility services in our production environments, supporting Deliver and MedTech activities in Beerse, La Louvière and Courcelles.  You will play a key role in ensuring the safety, sustainability, and reliability of our installations.

What Will You Do?

·       Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies for energy management and utilities that contribute to our business objectives.

·       Practical Problem Solving: Take the lead as system owner and resolve issues impacting safety, quality, and costs.

·       Collaboration and Compliance: Work with government authorities and auditors to ensure full compliance and safeguard our reputation.

·       Internal Relationships: Act as the key point of contact for internal customers and build strong relationships with various stakeholders.

·       Budget Management: responsible for the maintenance budget and asset replacement program for facilities and utility installations.

Your Profile

·       Expertise in Facilities Management: You have broad knowledge of energy and utilities, GxP water systems, and HVAC.

·       Innovative Thinker: You can adopt and implement best practices and technological innovations.

·       Relationship Management: You possess strong stakeholder management skills and can lead teams with diverse technical and business competencies.

·       Education: An engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Bio) or a bachelor's degree in electromechanics, energy technology, or a related field, with 6 to 8 years of experience in utilities or maintenance in a GxP-regulated environment.

·       Strong Communicator: You are fluent in Dutch, French, and English, with excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€79 800,00 - €137 770,00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
