Job Description:
Knox City-O'Brien CISD is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Teacher's Aide's to support classroom instruction and enhance the learning environment for students during the 2026�2027 school year. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of a certified teacher, assisting with instructional support, classroom management, and student engagement.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting the classroom teacher with instructional tasks and activities
• Supporting individual or small groups of students with academic tasks
• Helping with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and daily routines
• Supervising students in various settings including classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, and playgrounds
• Performing clerical tasks such as grading papers, organizing supplies, and maintaining student records
• Providing additional support to students with special needs as required
• Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and staff
• Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred

Salary:
Commensurate with experience and based on the district's paraprofessional pay scale.
