Job Description
As a Citi Wealth at Work (WaW) Deposits & Treasury Management Specialist, you will work closely with Wealth Banker teams within Wealth at Work’s Law Firm Group West and Central regions, and Professional Services Group, to assist in generating new business from existing and prospective individual and institutional law firm clients. Responsibilities include consulting with law firms, understanding their needs and delivering integrated banking, treasury management and deposit product solutions. This individual will partner closely with the Wealth Banking teams as well as directly with clients in a product sales capacity. Excellent consultative skills and product knowledge of deposits and treasury management are required, with a high degree of professionalism and sales acumen. Additionally, candidate will work closely with investment and lending product partners in addition to the wider treasury management product team on a regular basis.
Objectives/Fundamental Responsibilities:
- Provide banking & treasury management product support to wealth banking teams within the Law Firm Group’s West and Central regions to drive new banking and treasury management business from prospective Law Firm clients and Professional Services Group.
- Directly interface with stakeholders such as CFO, CEO, Controller, Treasurer & Accounting Staff
- Understand & evaluate clients’ business needs by employing a consultative sales approach to determine their requirements and recommend solutions
- Drive meaningful discussions with clients with goal of solutioning treasury management and banking needs
- Full engagement & execution on all strategic business development initiatives
- Nurture and deepen existing Wealth at Work client relationships
- Conduct institutional client relationship reviews and prospect presentations to generate new business
- Prepare and present competitor statement analyses and product proposals
- Ongoing travel to Wealth at Work offices in coverage markets
- Support the proposal & RFP bidding process
- Proactively keep Wealth teams and clients abreast of new products, enhancements and industry insights
- Create and maintain a solid working relationship with the overall Deposits team, product partners and colleagues across Citi businesses
Qualifications:
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of cash management, banking and client facing experience
- B.A./B.S.(required)
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation (preferred, not required)
- Have knowledge of Treasury Management products, banking & the client sales cycle
- Knowledge of and ability to structure and position deposit solutions
- Awareness of Private Banking/Wealth (preferable but not required)
- High degree of professionalism
- Strong written, listening & verbal communication skills
- Excellent consultative selling & negotiation ability
- Attention to detail and consistent follow-up skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, internet applications & pipeline reporting systems

$182,400.00 - $273,600.00
