Job Description
Ensures a fun-filled and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of four star service is paramount by providing quality assistance and information on a variety of subjects to hotel guests.
- At the beginning of each shift, checks all supplies and prepares the station to perform job effectively.
- Greets guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Provides “ Flawless” reservation service for Harrah’s/Caesars Republic casino and hotel guests, which include shows, restaurants, and local events/attractions (i.e. Tahoe Queen, balloon rides, weddings, etc.).
- Directs guest requests for hair, manicure and other personal services.
- Handles special requests for guests, including limousine service, flowers, and arrangements for special occasions.
- Provides accurate up-to-date information regarding current activities and performances in the area.
- Provides information to guests regarding Harrah’s/Caesars Republic history and the cultural, business and recreational history of the area.
- Maintains knowledge of special promotions and participates in those that affect the hotel and casino.
Interacts with Hotel, Sales, Food and Beverage, and other departments to ensure that good channels of communications are maintained. - Processes the ticketing and reservation functions for Tahoe property events, following all service standards and ticketing procedures and policies.
- Runs computerized reports on a consistent basis and accurately inputs data into computerized reservations systems.
- Logs all shift information in the daily memo book to provide updated information for next shift.
- Demonstrates a pleasant and enthusiastic demeanor at all times.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Some college course work in the hospitality field preferred
- Two or more years in customer service or related field
- Literate and fluent in English.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to deal with a variety of guests
- Above average computer skills preferred
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
- Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
- Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time (8 hours).
- Visual and auditory range must include immediate environment.
- Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
- Must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel.
- Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy
environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
