Department: BH Practical Nursing School

Shift: Day

Working Hours: 7 to 3 or 8 to 4

Summary:

The Assistant Professor of Nursing is responsible for providing high-quality education to nursing students at Baptist Health College Little Rock (BHCLR). This role involves a combination of developing and delivering content, engaging in clinical instruction, and service to the academic community. The Assistant Professor will engage in scholarly activities, mentor and advise students, maintain accurate records of student progress and performance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursing program. Limited remote work may be acceptable for this position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  1. BSN required; MSN or doctoral degree preferred.
  2. MSN or doctoral degree is required to teach in a high school pathway program.
  3. Minimum of two years of direct patient care nursing experience required; teaching experience preferred. 
  4. Unencumbered Arkansas or compact state nursing license 
  5. Current BLS is required. 

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
