PRN Med Lab Technician

Laboratory Technicians are responsible for the collection and processing of patient specimens, the general operation, maintenance, and quality control of waived, moderate, and high complexity instrumentation. Lab technicians provide accurate and timely clinical diagnostic information to health care professionals for use in the treatment and diagnosis of disease processes. Lab techs maintain accurate records and report data through the Laboratory Information System. (*Denotes Essential Functions)

Qualifies as Testing Personnel under Federal Register Sec 493.15 and 493.20 for waived, moderate and high complexity testing.
