Job Description

AS THE ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST, you'll be responsible for supporting the imaging department by performing diagnostic ultrasound exams by following ACR guidelines. Under the direction of the Physician/Supervisor, the sonographer must be able to complete all assigned duties and perform proper scans as per set protocols. The sonographer will assist the Radiologist and Physician during interventional procedures and with clerical duties when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be registered by ARDMS or complete registry within one (1) year of start date
  • Certification in specialized health related field by ARDMS, abdomen, and/or OB/GYN required
  • Healthcare Provider CPR certification must be obtained within six (6) months of start date
  • One (1) to three (3) years experience in related field preferred
  • Vascular and breast registry by ARDMS required within one (1) year of hire
