Timberland EMEA is looking for an exceptional Concession Planner to join our DTC Planning team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s Talk about the Role

The concession planner role will hold primary accountabilities onto driving sales analysis, plan and allocate, and communicate with 3rd parties partners for the entire concession channel (SiS, Retail, Outlet)

You as Concession planner will be responsible for day-to-day monitoring of inventory levels in stores in conjunction with plan to ensure optimum Stock Turn, Revenue and Service Levels.

The Planner collaborates closely with Concession Sales team, Allocation and Planning team to ensure that inventory is managed to the planned constraints and business goals.
 

How You Will Make a Difference

You will achieve this by:

  • Maintaining optimal inventory in store releasing daily / weekly orders and maintaining stock targets

  • Responsible for sell thru reporting for Concession channel. Analysing store-level data to identify Brand/Division trends, DC-specific and store-specific inventory issues.

  • Analysing sales results by store and use information to: adjust levels or suggest transfers, monitoring out of stocks and fill size gaps.

  • Initial allocation in alignment with range and assortment by store. Establish proper levels of product by store and size and distribute accordingly.

  • Replenishment: ensure proper level of stock in store based on sellout, weeks of cover and DC availability.

  • Emphasizing on store-level inventory levels and basics management.

  • Establish and maintain proper level of communication on all relevant business information with Concession sales team and the partner organization.

  • First point of contact for delivery issues and communication with logistic team for resolution.

  • Contribute to harmonize processes and best practice with O&O channel to optimize and simplify tasks and operational activities.

  • Ensuring full execution of mid-season and EOS returns in a timely manner

  • Co-ordinating with Retail Operations, DC and Planning teams to ensure store level trends balance with Open-to-Buy and Open-to-Ship projections and forecasts

  • Attending and contributing to all function and department meetings

  • Communicating of Availability, Transfers & Price changes to stores (including pricing maintenance)

  • Responding to Store & Concession sales team queries

Skills for Success

You should be a curious and proactive team- player, with:

  • The ability to analyse business trends and read data to take decisions and translate direction in lower-level execution

  • The capability to work with proactivity, flexibility and in a team setting

  • An understanding of retail stores and stock management

  • A good knowledge of  Microsoft Excel  and Basic Math. Ability to manage big sets of data.

  • Fluency in English is mandatory, any other language is a plus

  • A keen interest in getting to know the brand and the product and country trends

A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or Master’s degree in economics are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
