
Sr. Systems Analyst, IT Production Management
Job Description

As part of the Global IT Production Management team, The Sr. Systems Analyst will be a key player in taking new applications from built or acquired to operational. This role in coordination with the Senior Product Manager will be responsible for creating rollout and change control processes to introduce new technologies to the studio and ensuring their long-term stability.
The Sr Systems Analyst, Production Systems & Support is responsible for delivery, stability, and continuous improvement of technology platforms supporting film and television production workflows. This role owns both the implementation of new applications and enhancements and the ongoing operation and support of production systems.
This position serves as a key bridge between production, post-production, engineering, and operations teams, ensuring systems are reliable, scalable, and aligned with the demands of fast-paced studio and on-set environments. The role is accountable for operational processes, system health, and successful delivery of production-critical technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Delivery
- Own the delivery of applications and enhancements across production and post-production ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional coordination across engineering, vendors, product and productions teams to deliver new capabilities
- Ensure alignment of delivery activities with production schedules, release windows, and business priorities
- Drive end-to-end production readiness, including deployment planning, documentation, and training
- Define and maintain secure configuration guides consistent with InfoSec and Studio requirements
- Production Systems & Support
- Own L2–L3 support operations for production and post-production applications, ensuring accountability for system uptime and performance
- Work within existing incident management processes including intake and triage.
- Partner with vendors and engineering teams to resolve complex production issues and improve system reliability
- Oversee environment management across production, staging, and post-production pipelines
- Govern change and release management processes, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system stability, performance, and user experience
- Provide clear, timely communication on system health, incidents, and risks to both technical teams and production stakeholders
- Maintain documentation for systems, workflows, and support procedures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 3 - 5+ years of experience in application delivery, production systems support, or IT operations roles
- Proven experience supporting and operating production-critical applications in media, entertainment, or similar environments
- Strong understanding of film/TV production and post-production workflows
- Experience owning incident management, root cause analysis, and support processes
- Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Strong execution, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, deadline-driven production environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with studio production systems (e.g. Cloud storage platforms, Box, Slack, EP Applications – Scenechronize, Sync on Set, Google Workspace, Airtable)
- Experience managing third-party vendors and technology partners
- Knowledge of ITSM tools and frameworks (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, etc.)
- Considerable experience in end user support in fast paced environments
