RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Sales team in preparation for both client and prospective client meetings.
- Conduct sophisticated business intelligence research on target companies, industries, and geographies—with a specialized focus on sanctions, forced labor exposure, and financial crime regulatory frameworks—to uncover blind spots and opportunities
- Lead Generation & Market Landscaping: Proactively map out and identify high-value entry points, decision-makers, and expansion opportunities across both the Federal Sector and new commercial markets.
- Collaborate with Kharon marketing and research teams to support Kharon participation and attendance at industry events and conferences, to include drafting and editing of related proprietary material and collateral.
- Provide end-to-end support on high-stakes proposals, RFPs, and presentations, orchestrating flawless execution from slide deck narrative flow to tracking actionable next steps.
- Leverage advanced AI tools (including Gemini and/or Claude) to streamline business development workflows, automate lead-generation research, and continuously optimize sales operations.
- Act as a critical partner to the Sales team by leveraging AI and deep-dive research to prepare high-impact briefs, predictive insights, and tailored materials for client and prospective client engagements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, International Relations, Political Science, or a related field.
- Academic or professional exposure to global security, international relations, financial crime, compliance, or regulatory environments.
- A foundational understanding of compliance frameworks such as anti-money laundering (AML), financial crime and illicit financing, sanctions regimes, and environmental, social and governance standards (ESG).
- Minimum 2+ years of professional working experience in a business development, sales support, research, or operations role, preferably in the Public/Federal sector focusing on SaaS or professional services.
- Strong research and analytical skills with experience conducting company, industry, or regulatory research, especially related to sanctions, forced labor, financial crime, or ESG.
- Proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint (or Google Slides), Excel (or Sheets), and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience drafting proposals, pitch decks, and/or sales collateral.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines across teams.
- Keen sense of judgment, initiative, ownership, and follow-through, and high level of credibility, trust, and integrity.
