Position Summary
The Director, Product Management – Marketing Promotions & Player Experience is responsible for the strategy, execution, and financial performance (P&L) of marketing, promotional, and player‑facing product capabilities across all customer‑facing Light & Wonder products, including EGM, online, mobile, kiosk, and supporting systems.
This role owns the end‑to‑end player experience, from acquisition and engagement through loyalty and retention, ensuring that marketing and promotional capabilities are cohesive, data‑driven, scalable, and optimized for operator outcomes and player satisfaction. The role serves as the central business owner, aligning product strategy, roadmap, investment decisions, and go‑to‑market execution with clear revenue, margin, and ROI accountability.
Essential Job Functions:
Owns the vision and strategy for marketing promotions and player experience across all customer‑facing products and platforms.
Defines and drives end‑to‑end player journeys, ensuring consistency and differentiation across physical and digital touchpoints.
Partners with design, UX, analytics, and engineering to translate player insights and operator needs into scalable product capabilities.
Leads product management for player marketing, promotional mechanics, loyalty enablement, and engagement tools.
Ensures promotional features are configurable, compliant, measurable, and optimized for operator performance and player engagement.
Drives innovation in promotional offerings to increase player frequency, spend, and lifetime value.
Owns product‑level P&L, including revenue growth, cost management, margin performance, and investment prioritization.
Builds and manages business cases, pricing strategies, and ROI models for new and existing products.
Allocates R&D and operational investment to maximize financial return and strategic impact.
Creates, maintains, and communicates a multi‑year product roadmap aligned to business priorities, market needs, and financial goals.
Drives disciplined product lifecycle management from concept through launch, optimization, and end‑of‑life decisions.
Ensures on‑time, high‑quality delivery through close collaboration with software development, QA, operations, and regulatory teams.
Leads cross‑functional go‑to‑market execution, including positioning, launch readiness, sales enablement, and customer communications.
Serves as the senior product interface to Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and executive leadership.
Builds and manages key brand, partner, and licensor relationships as applicable.
Ensures all products meet gaming regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.
Maintains deep awareness of gaming industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging player experience expectations.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Training and/or Experience:
10+ years of progressive product management experience, including senior leadership roles
Proven ownership of product P&L and financial performance
Extensive experience in gaming player marketing and promotions
Demonstrated success delivering player experience improvements across EGM, online, mobile, kiosk, and connected ecosystems
Prior gaming industry experience strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong executive leadership and cross‑functional influence
Deep expertise in product strategy, lifecycle management, and roadmap execution
Advanced financial acumen, including pricing, forecasting, and ROI analysis
Data‑driven decision making with strong analytical skills
Strong understanding of gaming regulations, compliance, and operational constraints
Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in related field required
Master’s degree preferred
Work Conditions:
The work conditions are representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations
Occasional domestic and international travel may be required
The targeted pay range for this role is $160,000 - $180,000. The total compensation package for this position may also include applicable incentive compensation, such as an annual performance bonus. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, specific work geography, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
